French Canvas is a small, owner operated, web-based shop located in Hamilton, New Jersey. It supplies pre-stretched canvases, stretcher bars and other items. I stretch my own canvas and use their standard and medium duty bars made of sustainably harvested poplar wood. French Canvas is the only source I have found for these high quality bars which are much less prone to warp than pine bars. I have been pleased with the bars, the personal service and like speaking to a real person when I call.
